Data deletion

When you connect your Instagram or Facebook account to Growth Studio by Growiom, we store your account id and username, and the access token that lets us act for you. Your token is removed when you disconnect.

If you use comment-to-DM, we also store, for each person who comments or messages you: their Instagram id and username, the email address they choose to give you, whether they consented, and whether they opted out. We don't sell this data.

1. Sign in to Growth Studio and open Posts & comments.
2. Choose Disconnect next to your Instagram account and confirm.

This deletes the stored token and account link, and automations stop sending. You can also remove Growiom in Facebook (Settings, then Business Integrations) or Instagram (Settings, then Apps and websites). Meta then sends us a deletion request, and we delete the stored connection, including the access tokens and Meta ids. Your leads and pages stay until you delete your account or ask us (options 2 and 3). The confirmation code Meta gives you shows the status below.

1. Sign in and open Profile.
2. Choose Delete Account and enter your password.

This permanently deletes your login and profile, your Instagram connection, all of your link-in-bio pages with their view counts, custom domain and pictures, your leads (including the people who messaged or commented), your automations and any open conversations, your voice profile, swipe file, audit and plan notes, and your reel log. It cannot be undone.

We keep one small record: that a free trial was used with your email address, so a free trial can't be claimed again by deleting an account. It holds your account id, the plan and the date.

Email support@growiom.com from your account email, or include your Instagram username so we can find your data. We'll confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

If you messaged or commented on a creator's Instagram account and want your details removed, email us with your Instagram username and the creator's account name. We'll delete the lead and conversation records for that username. You can also reply "stop" to any automated message to opt out of further messages.

Account deletion in the app removes your data straight away. Any remaining copies are removed from our systems within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
